    General questions about GAMSAT

I'd like to know if it's true that GAMSAT score lasts for 3 years? :-)

It's a good idea, then if you do badly, not only can you do it again (they take the best score) you'll know the set up on the day, which is quite important.

How was GAMSAT for you? I'm dreading it completely! eek I don't know where to start my revision and all revision and study guides costs a fortune!

Griffith's is good, don't bother with physics as it's all obvious, buy and learn "organic chemistry for dummies", know A level biology very well to save time having to read the descriptions in the exam, perhaps push it to first year undergrad but this is probably not necessary.

The only thing you really have to spend money on is the official ACER papers, and you can often get them for cheap on here.

The exam isn't all that bad. Certainly not something i'd want to go through again, but it's not as overwhelming as people make out.

Thank you so much!, reading the posts about GAMSAT have really got me scared! I'm doing psychology with neuroscience as my undergraduate degree so have all the main biology and chemistry books to brush up on

Also, is it fine to apply to med schools when in your last year of my undergraduate degree at university?

It is - many go straight from undergraduate years.
I sat GAMSAT last year thinking of it as a "mock" in the hope of gaining 2010 entry and got in! The only thing I would say is make sure you could take a place next year if it was offered because you can't easily defer.
All the best (it is not that bad, just gruelling!)
