Peninsula cut-off is 54!!!!!!!
Haha only kidding. But it got your attention.
Does anyone know if Peninsula GEM have the same application/interview process as St. George and Nottingham? Ie do they only interview those who score above their GAMSAT cut-off without even reading our personal statements/looking at our grades, or do they use our GAMSAT score as well as other things from our UCAS form?
Any light shed would be awesome.

You're mean! that will have raised some hopes!
They say they 'check' your form but I got the impression that as long as you dont state that your favourite hobby is torturing small animals it is down to your GAMSAT.Oxford GEP fresher Medic 2009

As far as I know the year I applied (for 2007 entry) it was only down to GAMSAT. The cut-off was 62 and I got 60... immediate rejection. The only med school I know that use UCAS form first, GAMSAT second, is Swansea.
Also, lol, when I saw the title of this thread I felt physically sick! I know that the cut-off is relative each year dependent on the exam itself and the scores of those who sat it, but it still grates when the cut-off is on or lower than what I scored a couple of years ago...South Bank University, PgDip Therapeutic Radiography 2007 - almost finished and have just been offered a job!!!

So, essentially then, below the cut off is an immediate rejection but above doesnt automatically qualify you. I'd just like to hear something but I think they are knee deep in direct school leavers currently.

Hey I am not a graduate, I am a direct-school leaver and I applied to Peninsula. I wanted to ask you kiya did they offer you Dentistry instead of Medicine by any chance? Just curious.
