Does GAMSAT have you UCAS ID?

This is basically to help others avoid the same mistake I made....

During my Gamsat registration I did not yet have a UCAS id, and just now I read on their website that if you did not submit your ID during registration you should email it to them later... Good thing I read that today and checked whether they had my ID number!!!
They didn't, so I just sent it to them...

If in doubt, check the email you got when you registered (probably titled "GAMSAT UK Online Registration") and if your ucas id is empty, email it to them with your gamsat id and other things you may find relevant. I emailed it to gamsatuk@acer.edu.au

Hope this helps people! And otherwise I'm glad people didn't make the same mistake I did!!!!

Hey guys...i made the blunder too....u c when they say ucas ID...do they mean the personal ucas ID thats kinda long...or something else?

Ah thanks a lot Luci, would've not known otherwise! I sent the E-Mail and got the reply to confirm that they've linked the UCAS to the GAMSAT result.

DRNC, the UCAS ID is 123-456-7891 (made up, but that format).

This wait is unbearable!

Thanks for posting this - I just sent mine to both UKCAT and GAMSAT. I imagine that they can probably work round it if you havn't provided it though: they'll be able to search on name and DOB.

It must be 2-4 weeks now?

hey, just a query. i submitted my UCAS application on the 15th October, the day of the deadline. does anybody know if this will put me at a disadvantage, having applied so late? or do UCAS send all of the applications to the unis at the same time, i.e. after the deadline.

oooh, i sent my id to them but i havent had any confirmation. should i have? they sent me an email to remind me so i replied to that email. nevermind, im sure they have it.

i agree about the wait - its taking forever. i knew it would be about 6 weeks but october seems to have draaaaged on!
