Practise Acer mark vs Real test score

Hi,

Just ran through section 1 practise questions in the acer book and got 57% which seems a horribly average score (I have never liked poetry/art). I was wondering if anyone had any experience comparing the score during the practise q's and the real thing?

Thanks

This is the million dollar question mate. The GAMSAT website states specifically that the mark you receive is not a percentage score, although from most people's experience it seems that it is very close to a percentage score. The Griffiths guy says how one year he attended the exam and guessed C for every question. I think he got something like 45 for section 1 and 32 for section 3, take from that what you will. Some people have specualted that you might get more marks for harder questions, which would explain the 45, but I really don't know.

Griffiths reckons that the GAMSAT score is prob about 5 points lower than the raw % marks which would give you around ~52. However he does say it is difficult to say given GAMSAT wont release the scoring system.
