Last minute revision

Hi guys,

Just wondering if anyone has left their revision last minute like myself and wondered if it is still possible to pass in two weeks if i did a major cramming session over the next two weeks. Any suggestions on what i should mainly focus on?

I would really appreciate some replys as i'm majorly stressing out

Thanks,
Pri

me too!! Have you had essays marked yahooy? It would be interesting to know how constructive they are! I have been piddling about with v little proper revision for the last month and now I'm panicing.
to answer Q on what to focus on Griffith's GAMSAT review has a list of likely topics but science wise unless you have a chem degree the I think chem is th most important of the sciences to get as good as you can. Thats what I'm doing anyway.

Thanks guys, thats a great help. Good luck for the 19th :-) How many hours are you studying daily or rather how much material are you covering daily? i'm just working through the ACER booklets, i have a biochem degree so mainly need to focus on essays and physics. I'm such a procrastinator!

Physics is quite a minor part of the exam - don't stress over it, particularly when the essays and humanities sections are so important.

If you have left yourself short of time for preparation, the single most important thing to drill into your head is layout. The amount of people I saw at my test centre who really didn't have any understanding of the structure of the exam had me genuinely shocked. People didn't know what each section was, the time allowed or the amount of work involved. Mad.

You really do need to arrive at the centre knowing how many seconds you can allow for each question and how many are in each section. The schedule really doesn't leave enough room for surprises once you get in there.

If you know your stuff then there is definitely enough time to complete the exam, but you do need to budget your time accurately to make sure you don't waste 30 seconds here or a minute there on a tricky item that could better be spent answering two that you find simple.
