Without question. I'm a psychology graduate and hadn't done any chemistry since Leaving Cert [although I did get an A1 back then] and that was the single best text I came across when getting ready. I also used the Physics for Dummies book and its workbook - definitely overkill on the content, but the workbook is packed with short questions for practice.
I had loads of other texts, but the key is to first get the official Acer sample papers to give an idea of what level you are at now, and then find books that match up. The reviews on Amazon are generally useful, but look around a bit more widely before stumping up any cash.
