I emailed them my UCAS personal ID. It was the only number that I found on my application when I logged in. So I guess that must be it, but apart from that I don't really know as I haven't heard back yet from them since I sent them my ID.

Section 1 was harder than usual, and alot of people seemed to feel that it was difficult. I've rarely heard of anyone saying that it was easy. All anyone needs is a 50 on that section as long as they make sure they have at least 55 or above on the 3rd section. I don't understand why anyone would need to have an understanding of such complicated prose as it's not a style that'll be used in the medical-scientific context or for communication with medical colleagues and patients.

As I'm currently living away from home, I think that you should recieve a letter from UCAS containing details of the application that was sent, and this would include your UCAS application number. Once you recieve this letter you should send GAMSAT UK your application number.

The St George's 2008 Graduate Stream MBBS Information Booklet which used to be available online (the link doesn't seem to be working at the moment) says "If called, you will be required to attend for a long structured interview between the 7th and 25th January 2008."

Do you know for definite that they have changed these dates? If so, where did you get the information from?

It used to say on GAMSAT website that it takes 5-7 weeks to get results but cant find it now, i got it on an email from them too. The man running the exam in Notts also confirmed this. Think it was about 6 weeks last year so doubt we'll hear on Friday.

I emailed notts uni who to ask about interview dates and they said that it would be Dec/Jan time (Xmas hols) but they weren't completely sure yet. Dont think they do interviews on the exact same dates tho as St Georges, email and check if you really need to know.

Thanks! Just having a minor panic as I am only applying to St George's and have some (very expensive ) interview coaching set up in December which would be a bit pointless if the interview was earlier! Will double check with George's directly in case I need to reschedule.

I believe it was 26th Feb that we got the results from the January exam (which I sat) so that was more than 7 agonising weeks and I don't envy you all going through that at the moment. Best of luck
