Hey hey it's over

I thought the first section was horrible, but possibly worse, I managed to finish the third section with about three quaters of an hour to go...... This really worried me as I thought it was supposed to take longer than we had.

What did everyone write their essays about??

yay, it is over, I seriously did not think I would last the whole time since I never practised studying for up to more than two hours in a go and neither did I practice any papers in their original time limit. I think I have learnt my lesson and will study properly for the next time round.

paper 1 was so annoying, you have to refer to the text over and over again to gain a proper understanding, but I felt if you know the science for paper 3 you could answer the questions without even referring to the text much.

anyone have any ideas how to get proper understanding for this frustrating exam? Are there any descent courses worthwhile? makes me wonder if it is this hard to gain entrance with little helpful material out there, then how hard must these medicine courses must be!

dude my essays were not even looking like essays, just a bunch of irrelevant thoughts all over the place, I hope they give marks for the stuff on the rough work page, hehe

Is it just me or is everyone feeling a little high from the long test

For the A task I wrote about Patriotism and Nationalism and for the B task, Which I felt was probably my best one out of the two, I wrote about Work and Life.

It seems that everyone had the same experience with the first section. I really don't want to think about how badly I did. Just have to keep my fingers crossed.

Gonna start my UCAS thing tomorrow Day off today...yay.

Now I was sat right at the front in Swansea so I didn;t see how many people weren't there, but there was enough

I did hardly any rough work on the essays. I had my format all planned out so I just conjured up some nonsense and started writing. I talked about the distict differences between Patriotism and Nationalism and in the second one I contrasted Hating work and enjoying work.

6-8 weeks for the results is just silly. For the amount of people that must take the exam they could probably have it all done in 2 weeks.

There were about 10 or 20 people who didnt turn up in sheffield. And the guy in front of me just left after the 1st section. I know the exam is tough, but thats 200 quid down the drain! whats the point?

Strange that people would do that. If I pay for anything I stick through it just because I feel I should. But whatever, all the better if people left.

if someone just left after the first section probably means they were just there to check it out, maybe it was a teacher.
I don't think there is any point not turning up, you can always learn something from just doing the test, and you can always guess.
I tried to be very general with my essays, but didn't even finish the second one.
section 1: national and personal identity
section 2: work and happiness
