'Biology for dummies' by D.R.Siegfried
- This book is great if you just need a recap in biological knowledge that you already have say from GCSE and A level. This book trys to keep it light and adds a lot of humour.

'Organic Chemistry for Dummies' By A. Winter
- I really like this book and feel it is really well written I do have background knowledge in chemistry though.

These books are being sold on ebay, the link is:

'Basic Physics a self-teaching guide' By K.F.Kuhn
- I have never done physics since science GCSE so i was dreading opening this book, but i was pleasantly surprised. It contains 23 main topics and each has an end of section test to check you have understood, it has diagrams throughout and i actually found it interesting (well maybe interesting is pushing it but i certainly didn't want to kill myself! hehe).

'A Self-teaching guide - chemistry concepts and problems' by C.C. Houk and R. Post.
- This book is my best chemistry book it concentrates on thirteen main topic including self tests at the end of each section - Great! It also includes all the useful table of values i.e periodic table, table of common oxidation numbers, etc.

These 2 books are also for sale on ebay, the link is:

Letts 'Revise A2 biology'
- Whenever i was unsure of something in the above book this one always cleared it up for me. Great diagrams and simplistic language. The information does need to be built on but as a grounding its 2 thumbs up from me!

Letts 'Revise A2 Chemistry'
- This book is useful when starting a new topic to get the basic understanding and also good if you don't understand a topic as uses lots of diagrams etc.

Letts 'Revise A2 Physics'
- This book is much like the other Letts books its a great way to start looking at a topic.

These 3 books are also being sold on ebay the link is:

All these books in excellent condition and all were life savers when it came to taking the exam!!
