Study Groups

Yes! It's that joyful time again when we start thinking about forming study groups to help us prepare to fight the evil GAMSAT exam!! I know many of you are going to Gradmed course, but maybe for those who aren't, or even for those who are and want to study in groups, then I hope this thread will help.

I have 1x ACER sample questions book and 2 x ACER practice test books to work on and would be willing to let other group members borrow my materials if they are willing to share theirs too. It would help us save costs on revision materials as well as allow us to share stategies/exam tips/etc.

Anyone in?

Hi!
Would LOVE to be in a study group - panic has truly set in now!! Am north of the border - in Edinburgh. I have the GAMSAT Guru study guides and the Griffiths GAMSAT review, 5 full practice tests and various A-level Chem, Bio and Physics books that I am happy to share (although may need those as am also sitting A-levels in June!). Would be happy to travel a reasonable distance! Study groups are a great idea!!
p.s. am also doing the Gradmed course so will have their study materials too.

Perfect!!
What Uni's are you applying to this year? Me - Kings (GEP), Nottingham (GEP), Edinburgh and Cambridge (GEP). So 4 different Uni's and 4 different admissions exams! Maybe not the best idea in hindsight - as each one of them is so demanding, but I didnt want to put too many eggs in any exam basket! Hopefully there will be a few more takers - but even just having one other person to study with will be really helpful! I dont know how to do the "PM" thing - but if you PM me - I will reply with my email address so you can contact me directly.

Hey, I too live in Edinburgh and would be interested in meeting up. I have the medprep course as well as various Gamsat papers and questions that I found in the careers office at uni. Also have a few Chem Biology and Physics Books.
It would be good to meet some folks in the same situation...let me know when your meeting up.

If it helps, I'm an arts grad at Edinburgh medschool but sat Gamsat this year but in the end declined Swansea GEP. If you meet up and want to chat about exam strategy or stuff like that, let me know. Very happy to help you. I wish you the very best of luck with it. Nick
