Easier than practice papers?

For me Section I was probably similar or maybe a bit tougher than the ACER practice questions but for me Section III was easier I think. All depends on what you're best at I guess but there was a lot of organic chemistry again wasn't there. I guess we won't really know how tough they were till we get our results.

I can't believe we have to wait almost two months

I would say the opposite to you. Section 1 was easier than I expected. Section 3; not harder, but the questions were certains were certainly a lot more "wordier". Yes, a lot of chemistry. Some of the reproduction of images on the paper was poor; eg. the fish genetics question wasn't laid out in the clearest way (well, I think).

I have to agree with Rich, I found section 1 harder than the practice papers and section 3 easier, or maybe it was just the fact there seemed more chem !

anyway I fear i failed on section 2 !!

The level was pretty much as expected from the practice papers. The science section was definitely easier and the humanities section was slightly tougher, if anything. The essays were on quite straightforward topics and it was surprisingly easy to finish each section within the time constraints. The whole experience was a lot better than I had feared. I hope it wasn't so easy this year that the pass mark will be shifted up too much, though!
