What was that moderator business? Think I missed something there...

MediC, thanks for the MSAT advice, will take that up I reckon, the old Des O'Neil treatment, do you get to meet him?.

STILL haven't got my UCAS off.. it's ready pretty much I'm just delaying the inevitable. Have some Q's actually (they are very dull and stupid so be warned):

1. I've got a degree already but UCAS doesn't seem to recognise my university (Kings London) under the drop down for school/colleges. You find that problem also?

2. What have you put under the fees question? There are NHS bursaries right so do we choose option 5?

Thanks,

L2D

How's everyone doing? It's been a while since I posted anything..

Got my UCAS form off and applied just to Kings and SGUL.. Need to apply this month for MSAT and GAMSAT. Still working full time so not getting as much studying done as I'd like.. rather struggling with organic chem. I'm hoping to have at least 2 clear months to study though prior to the dreaded GAMSAT, be nice just to get it over with.

I'm planning on doing some weekend Gradmed courses in December, do I need to book those now in case they all fill up?

Hope everyone's staying sane,

L2D

Just about. I've applied to Newcastle, King's, Peninsula and Swansea.

Took annual leave today to have a go at the science section of the Acer GAMSAT practice test and scored 51. Now just have to do some revision to up it a bit. Turns out my grasp of physics isn't what it was!!

Exciting day today - got the proofs through for my article that's appearing in a medical journal in November!

51 is pretty good at this stage, I think I'd score about 20 at the mo but science is my weakest spot. Having said that, I tackled my first sample GAMSAT humanities question last week and scored 1 outta 5!! Oh dear, I mean, what the hell is a sandpiper!!! I must say, answering MCQs on poetry seems a bit off...Anyways, a long way to go for for me. Signed up for gradmed today.

hello all.

this is all very helpful. is anyone willing to place their revision timetables up for others to see? i have A levels in phys, chem and biol but i need to do some brushig up before the GAMSHAT. however, i wanted to see how others organised their workload as i'm also working fulltime with very awkward shifts. ANY help would be appreciated.
