i did not think the GETSET course was that bad, the bio and physics lecturers were not great and not sure about the orgainisation. But not sure what else you could expect from a weekend course, and the tests are a good indicator of where we are now, but i would like to know the science pass mark though.

think they could have given us the lecture slides as they were all on PC.... they could have email them to us... just thought she was a bit defensive.. .the gradmed tutors are really good, although I'm only doing chemistry and a day of essay writing... i only really came to this one to get an idea of what i need to learn in biology and physics... and didn't even make the physics part!

ops:

Overall I think it was ok and I did get something out of it especially the mock exams and just meeting others in the same boat, but it was ridiculous about not getting all the slide material in handouts. and the food was very minimal... I was starving by the exam on the sat evening!

She was v defensive and stayed the same when I tried to speak to her about it on the sunday. I'm planning to write to her and ask for them to send it to me. Probably won't do any good but you never know. What annoyed me was she said she thought I was in the minority wanting the lecture slides......this blatantly isn't the case!!!

But saying all that.... its not all -ve. the chemistry was good and at least it got me a bit more focused! but I di have this nagging feeling that i should have just paid the extra to do gradmed. Any one know if they've done their physics day yet?????

Did anyone else notice that the science Qs are much easier (talking about ozimed papers) than the ACER ones. They are more straight fwd calculations but the ACER ones are tricky and u really have to think about it.
