I am surprised that you have not taken advantage of our unconditional guarantee. I would be happy to refund you your purchase if you felt that it will not help you achieve a higher score in the GAMSAT. As of yet we still have not received any request for return.
Let me state this very clearly:
THE GAMSAT GURU METHOD STUDY MANUALS ARE NOT INTENDED TO BE
SCIENCE TEXTBOOKS.
If you are looking for a science textbook, I would suggest going to Amazon and purchasing the numerous textbooks that are available.
The GAMSAT is designed to be fair to people regardless of what background they come from, be it science or humanities. Hundreds of people sit the GAMSAT each year and do not come from a science background. Many of them do extremely well in Section III.
Most science graduates will have spent at least 3 years studying from Science textbooks, be it physics, chemistry, biology or physiology etc. Obviously there is an advantage for science background candidates in Section III but the advantage is not as wide as most people think, and this is deliberately done by the test makers.
Subsequently, the manuals are deliberately written not as a science theory textbook but rather to HIGHLIGHT the key topics one needs to be familiar with and our methodologies in dealing with these topics in the GAMSAT exam.
I welcome all purchasers of the GAMSAT Guru Method to make comments on the manuals. There have been too many people commenting on the manuals who do not actually have them.
I actively participate in the forums and I hope that in time I am not the only GAMSAT preparation material/course provider prepared to engage in discussion on forums under their true name.
