Gamsat Study Group Ireland

Was just wondering if there are any people living in Ireland who are planning on sitting GAMSAT (for med entry) in Jan 2006. I am currently based in Dublin and would like to hear from anyone interested in forming a study group in Dublin/Ireland or even exchanging preparation materials.

dublin study group

i'd definitely be up for forming a study group. I think it's a great idea, because I don't have a clue to start. I'm in UCD, living in Ranelagh. I reckon it's a good idea to start studying early for next year, I just don't know how to go about it. We could even just start off by emailing suggestions and meet later on. Either way, count me in!

Hi Folks, has anyone considered doing the Gradmed course in London? It's starting in September. It's expensive but might be worth it... I'm thinking of doing it if I can get the money together.

info

Hello,

I am on the graduate course at Warwick- Leicester Medical School.

I am originally from Dublin, but have lived in the UK for quite a long time. I went to Cardiff University before starting here.

If anyone needs any help or advice about medical school entry, give me a bell.

Sounds Like a Good Idea. The prep courses in the UK , cost a fortune and looking at the GAMSAT wed site is'nt very useful when trying to decide what is relevant to study!
I'm living in South Dublin and would 'nt mind meeting up or mailing, I need all the help I can get ! Science aint my thing , Just finished in U.C.D.

hello

Hi Guys,

Where abouts are you all? - Im from Crumlin in Dublin. I wanted to study in Ireland in 1995, but was rejected from TCD and UCD to study science. I hold no anomosity towards them, as my grades were not amazing and the competition was fierce that year. I went on to live and work in Germany, but then moved to the UK in 1996, where I have lived ever since. I studied at Cardiff University for my undergraduate and postgraduate degrees, and then worked at Imperial College in London. I recently decided to move across to medicine. Im now on the graduate entry programme at Leicester-Warwick Medical School.

If I can help anyone, drop me a line!
