Why do some intl's/EU's say their VR score could be considered differently given that their mother tongue isn't English? Did this ever happen?
I want to know if it's true because if it is, when I'll get next year like 670 in VR it would considered like a 750

i am saying they might not be too harsh just because someone VR sucks but everything else in their application is great.... i am hoping i wont get rejected just because my VR was 500, they would see that i am not english...

Yes, of course, but from what I hear Edinburgh is very selective (in my op it's the most selective in UK...really)
Btw, TCI, where are you from? How do you think your BMAT's gonna be? [some estimations per sections]

I am a home student too as I'm from EU, that means I won't have to be one the chosen 7 intl's at Ox when I'll be applying next yr

Edinburgh are really decent and flexible when it comes to EU students (I'm Belgian myself and I'm a fresher this year!). I think they really respect the fact that we come from a different background (might not know the healthcare system that well, for example) and take it into account!

Great for you! I heard they have some high Ukcats there. What was yours? Also, did you take IB?

    Why thank you!

I got a UKCAT of 705... And apparently I fell into the top quartile of applicants when it came to academic scores (so, including UKCAT scores). So don't freak out if your UKCAT average isn't something like 790! :P

I actually did the European Baccalaureate! Don't worry if you haven't heard of it; it's a messed up diploma that only around 11 schools do! How about you? IB?

I cannot take IB because my school does not offer IB. Some schools however accept Romanian Bac, but I guess Edinburgh is not one of em.
