Anyone else heard back from Durham yet? I got a phonecall this week about having an interview next week, and was just wondering if anyone's already had one and therefore knows what it'll be like?

I got a phone call today but was in a lesson... so i have an interview just don't no wen it is yet...

nice one, both of you! i don't know about sample questions, but i'd imagine it's the usual sort of thing - i got a letter saying that there'll be 2 people on the panel, and that it'll last between 35 and 40 minutes...but other than that i'm not sure! guess we'll have have to wait and see. anyway good luck for it!

thanx anyway i no people were having interviews yesterday (turned the date down :S So asking nicely but desperately, what questions did you get??????????????????????????????????????????????? ???????????????????????????????????????????

Questions asked: Why medicine? Why you? What makes you different? Give an example of when you have failed. What would you do if your friend was on illicit drugs? What do you think about illicit drugs? Current NHS. Basic medical ethics.

I have not had one...yet!! But...i have friends who are Durham Medics. Also, 2 of my friends had interviews last week at Durham. From what i hear the interview is relaxed.

Question to those having interviews, did you put D down as your campus code, and not E?

Yea, just to piggyback on the post above. If they allocate you to Durham or Newcastle, does that mean that you're more likely to get an interview or is it just a process Newcastle goes through for every application?
