Just to suggest/speculate I think they problems interview people who put a campus code first. Then start to allocate the E's to a specific campus. But that is just pure speculation (and hope) only having a UKCAT of 630 :S

It went fine thanx, it was very nice, well nicer than expected anyway...it was v. informal, nice setee to sit on, water offered.

OK the deal is:-

2 people on a thing (me 1 male (can't remember dr maybe??) 1 female (john snow admissions persons- picked either more chance of accom there ???))

4 interviews per day so bring sumthing to read- don't see no1 scary... by no1 i mean just students no interviewees

they haven't read your application and just want to know you.

They asked me things like so why do u want to be a doc, what qualities make a good doc, what qualities do u have, have u had a look around the campus- what did u like ect. (lots of descriptions)

But the biggest difference was they had a couple of cards with senerios on, and asked u what u wud do in that senerio. 1 I had u are a locum in a gps a disabled person has breathing difficulties but doesn't want to be taken away from home.

Hope this helps!!

just wondering what the politically correct term is for "disabled" these days. is it physically challenged and mentally challenged? or is disabled ok too?

Hi Laura,
Thanks for posting that. My OH is at durham now and he got the exact same scenario last yr, so i might question those who i know got interviews last yr to see what else they ask (if i actually get an interview from durham...). Cheers!

Total speculation - i put either for my campus code, got allocated to durham on 11th nov and got an interview for the 26th (would have been 21st but i had to turn that down). Just to help people who are worrying.
