Admissions For 09

Hi guys thought i'd share a few things with you that I found out when I rang the admissions officer.

1) They do place high emphasis on the UKCAT, the woman said the cut off point was 600, however the higher your score, the more points you get.
2) They place most emphasis on your highest academic qualifications, the woman said they have no problem with GCSE resits and don't ask for a set number of A*s, they even accept C grades in either English, Maths or Science.
3) They give you a score for your personal statement and your reference, so make sure your reference is in tip top condition and makes you seem as well rounded as possible.
4) They don't accept A level resits
5) They treat candidates who are reapplying as new cadidates
6) You need AAA at A level

One thing I forgot to ask is if you need an A in your 4th AS, anyone know for sure what their requirements are?

This is for a100, in the case of the a101, I got the impression from her statement they look at "you highest adademic qualifications", so I don't think your A levels will matter. Give them a ring though, the number is 01913340353 and the admissions officer is called Helen Taylor.
