Campus Information

I thought some general campus information might be of use to you guys. Below is a link to a map of the campus and its surroundings. Those of you attending interviews will more than likely be located in the Holliday Building (although follow the advice on your interview letter!!)

Travel Directions:

By Road

Queen’s Campus, Stockton is linked by the A66 to the A1(M) and the A19.

From A19 North

1. Join the A66, signposted Stockton/Darlington

2. Take the first slip road from A66, signposted Teesside Retail Park/Tees Barrage

3. Turn right at the traffic lights, over the bridge across the A66, following signs for the Barrage.

4. Turn left at the roundabout.

5. Turn right at the next roundabout and follow the signs for the car park.

From A19 South

Join the slip road for the A66 signpost Stockton/Darlington.

Keep on the slip road and follow the signs for the Barrage as described above.

By Rail

GNER service runs from London, York and Edinburgh to Darlington, with a connection to Thornaby Railway Station.

The Transpennine Express provides a direct approximately hourly service from Manchester Airport, Manchester, Leeds and York to Thornaby.

Once at Thornaby Station, climb the steps and turn right onto the footbridge. Walk over the footbridge and turn right along Station Street. At the roundabout turn left into Harvard Avenue. At the next roundabout turn right into University Boulevard. The Holliday Building is on your left.
