Seriously, what the hell is going on here?

I just received word that UCAS track has me down as "unsuccessful" for Dundee, even though I had an interview invitation to both my personal email and my MyDundee account and I've actually BOOKED my interview through their system.

I fired off an email to Gordon Black but there is obviously nobody in the office at the moment.

    I'm totally freaking out here.

If I were you I would print off a copy of your e-mails and keep them safe. I know you're going to go barking mad waiting for 9 in the morning but I honestly think if you managed to book the interview on their system you are fine. It sounds to me like their IT section has gone mad. Good luck

I can't believe this. I'm completely freaked out.

How could they make a mistake like this?

Either they've mistakenly told me that I have an interview - and not only that but ALLOWED ME TO BOOK ONE - or they've entered the wrong info in UCAS's system.

Either way it's a horrible mistake that's causing me a hell of a lot of stress and worry right now.

Well keep trying until you get through. Most med schools are still open.

You probably checked this already but it says on UCAS Track that the info they put up is identical to the info they receive from the uni. If you were e-mailed by the uni with interview dates etc then I reckon Dundee have just sent the wrong info to UCAS. UCAS say not to contact them but the uni's directly. The very fact that they have a section on this topic suggests to me this has happened before so try to assume the positive . Hope that all helps.

I hope to God that's what's happened but I'm not holding my breath. Between this and the access issue I was talking about earlier on, it looks like they have sent me the interview invitation in error. How they could allow that to happen is beyond me though. One would have thought they had checks and double checks to prevent such a thing.

I'm really, really upset at the moment and I have to go out to Red Cross for 3 hours now, where I've already told my friends I have an interview :l

If they really have done this, they'll have made me look a complete fool.

Dont worry i am so sure this will be a fault of the uni's communication to UCAS! and even if not they are obliged to give you an interview as that would be terrible! so don't panic until you speak to admissions!
