UKCAT cutoff??

hi

does anyone noe if there are stringent requirements for UKCAT?? is there a higher cutoff for UKCAT for international students since dundee is like super hard to get in?? does anyone know? my av for the test is 685 which would probably pale in comparison with most ppl

When I was at the open day, they said that there was no specific cut off. They take all applicants average and organise it into a list in numerical order. You will then be placed in section 1, 2 or 3 and points given for which ever section you are in. Apparnetly ukcat is only like 4% of what they consider!

You also get extra points if you attended the open day!

yikes, i'm an international student, they will make allowances for me not going to the open hse right?? haha, doesn't really matter i suppose. with yucky scores like mine, once they compare to other internationals, the diff will be quite obvious haha

Ranked quartiles are used by Edinburgh university ONLY

Dundee use the results very conservatively awaiting further research into the validity of the test.
There is no UKCAT cutoff at Dundee
