Term Dates and Exams

Do first years usually have exams and things happening all the way to the last day of term? It's my mother's 50th birthday soon after and I want to try to plan to be there for it, but it's not looking very realistic if so. Will we find out exam dates pretty much right away, and will those dates be definite?

(That is, if I get in... Two weeks until results and I am SCARED.)

According to the timetable your exams are the week 10-17 december and then you're on holidays.

all the best with results.

That's even worse than I thought! On the academic year dates on the website it says the first term lasts until 14 December, which is close, but would work. The 17th doesn't work out at all.

They might work out to be on the monday/tuesday though, 10th/11th. You'll only have 2 exams before the holidays so chances are you might have the end of the week free to get home. Hope it works out for you
