Anyone have any info on equipment we need to get?

Hi

I'm a new member to the forum wondering if anyone has had any information on what equipment we need to get: Lab Coat, stethoscope, etc. They seem to have left it pretty late considering we start in less than two weeks and I'm not even sure where to buy anything. Also any information on booklists would be a great help.

hey,
theyre not giving out a booklist this year, i think when we get there theyll just suggest which books are best to buy- havent got a clue on the labcoat etc though

Hey

You don't actually need to buy anything till you get there, you don't need a stethoscope till 2nd year, and you only need a labcoat for Anatomy, which will probably be green as that's what ours was and you'll get the oppurtunity to buy them when you get there. You will get a booklist when you matriculate but don't worry you don't need everything straight away, there will be plenty of time to get it all!!
