Which Undergrad BSc Courses Are Closely Linked With Dermatology?
As the thread title says.
We know that neuroscience can be helpful if you want to show an early interest in a neurological/neurosurgical specialty later on; psychology/neuropsychology for psychiatry; surgical science for surgery; international health for public health medicine; medical education for academic medicine; etc...
So I would like to know which course/s at undergraduate degree level or intercalated BSc's can be directly associated with this medical specialty.
I am aware of MSc and PgDip in Clinical Dermatology but Im looking for an undergrad degree.
Thanks.

Hi there,
I have just finished my 3rd year at Glasgow - and I also have a keen interest in dermatology.
Next year I am doing the Clinical Dermatology intercal course at Glasgow - I am able to do a dermatological research project which should be very useful and the timetable should allow for some clinic time if I can arrange it too. The coordinator of the degree is great and has invited me along to the dermatology MDTs every week aswell and given me some great contacts already!
Hope that helps!

I'm also interested in dermatology, I've had a look on the glasgow medical school website for intercalated degrees but couldn't find anything about clinical dermatology?
