How hard is it really to get in the course? Are the odds virtually impossible? Because Dentistry is really the only career path I've wanted to do.

If only I didn't get DEU in my first year (I retook a year ) I've got AABa at the moment, with decent experience and voluntary work, but probably isn't worth me cancelling my UCAS application to reapply for the 5 year BDS.

In my application, KCL is my firm choice with QM as a backup for Biomedical Sciences. I'm more inclined to join King's as it seems to be the better uni, as well as the fact I can study ORAL BIOLOGY and ANATOMY OF THE HEAD AND NECK as two modules to choose in the course. Do you think this would help me in my application for post grad dentistry by doing these modules?

Also, I take it KCL is the better uni to go to, right? Will a 2.1 from KCL be more valuable than a 2.1 from QM?

One last question... would it be advisable to get a BSc at Kings and then study Dentistry at Canada (Doctor of Dental Surgery degree) and be able to work in the UK without any further problems, or is this a poor idea?
