not necessairly- we're often reminded you only need to be about CCC standard to handle medical school. Grades get pushed up through increasing competition.

Why is it worrying? I've just finished my fourth year, I entered with Bbc and i'm more than capable of coping with the course thanks. Don't let the hype carry you away. A levels get you into medical school. They don't keep you there.

Well...you weren't joking really were you?

Once you get into medical school (or even get an offer) then you can assess how hard medical school is and how many A's you need to be there.
