Any past re-sitters....what did you do in the time off?

Hi guys, found out rather annoyingly yesterday that i failed my semester 3 exams, and am now free of being a student until i return to university in September. So i'm looking for jobs, i'd love to get a bit of research done, or something in the NHS, but i've only ever worked in admin in the 'outside world' before, so i thought i'd look to you guys. See if anyone had previously had experience of having a couple of months off, and what they did with it. And to see if anyone know where to look for temporary research posts.

Due to a family illness I had to take a year off. When the member of the family in question was over their illness, I became a ski rep! Was absolutely brilliant and I would definately not have done something medicine based. You are abit late for the ski season, but working for a holiday company over the summer could be an idea, many of them take people from about March/April for the season, you could work in a lovely climate in a great part of the world. Enjoy your time, you won't get another oppurtunity to do whatever you want again for a long time!

Check out PGL, Mark Warner, Club Med (if you speak French), or, if you don't mind camping, try all the european camping companies, they have good oppurtunities for temp staff.

Good Luck and see this an an oppurtunity not a failure, I wouldn't swap my time off for anything!
