hey just to "wake up" this thread a bit. I ve already applied for the entrace exams for 1st faculty of medicine in Prague. I also applied for exams for hungary (Semmelweis) and i am in a bit of dilemma on which to choose if i pass in both. I think i ll prefer prague in the end. I really want to do a residency in the US though and hope Prague helps
![]() anyone else going to prague in 2007? |

I'm applying to the 3rd faculty, I don't really know anything about Semmelweis so I'm not applying there.

On a slightly different note - do remember that if you want to work in the UK after you have graduated that wages are falling fast...medicine pays below the average starting graduate salary.
In my opinion you may be stung if you have paid a lot to study medicine abroad but then end up with a poorly paid UK job. Each to their own I guess, I certainly wouldn't pay for a medical education abroad with uncertain prospects in the UK. |

I know it's also possible to study medicine in Tartu, Estonia in an English stream. The city is nice and the university is of good pedigree (from what i know) and old, but i dont know anything about the course (only know they do medicine because my sister happens to live in the city).
