I haven't heard anything either... but I think that some acknowledgements got messed up in the postal strike... I didn't get my one from Keele until a little while after everyone else seemed to so I shouldn't worrry!!

I can't remember if I said it in this thread or in another thread. Cardiff University has a record of being relatively slow in replying to International students in the past few years I've been monitoring the progress of this school. Its an issue I they should be aware of and should be working to amend... you could write to the School and inquire (calling would be safer since e-mails can sometimes take a while to get to - and you may keep trying till someone picks up since the admissions period is an extremely busy period for the office. Please note the time difference when you call - lunch break is usually 1 pm GMT).

Don't worry, their mail's probably sailing around the world to you right now. ^^

PS: Apologies - its the School of Medicine which is relatively slow, not Cardiff University. You should find the CU International Office relatively quick in responding. Good luck to those having interviews next week.

Good Luck to all those being interviewed this year at Cardiff! I remember it was like this time last year being interviewed and I was terrified, but seriously don't worry, the interviews are fine, and there really aren't any tricky questions. Just make sure you know your PS really well. PM me if you have any questions etc.

I got a postcard from Cardiff the other day... Those of you who have had/got interviews, how long after the postcard did you get the interview, out of interest?

As far as i'm away the postcard has no bearing as to whether you get an interview or not...it's simply a way of them letting you know they got your application. Unless it says anything different to that?

To Rhianmt, I had an interview last week, they were really very friendly, just make sure you know your personal statement really well and why you want to do medicine and go to Cardiff then I am sure you will be fine!

Medicine Woman... I received a txt message, but I know several of my friends who have applied to Cardiff didn't receive acknowledgement either.
