It WAS a dream wasnt it !!!!!!

The biggest thing to ever happen to me, and thats saying something at 27yrs old, happened to me a few months ago. I visited the best Medical School in the WORLD, it was upon a park called Heath. I'm starting to believe it was just a dream....

It was an exhilirating, viscerol experience. I had an interview. I poured out my heart to two men. (I should have known it was a dream then, after-all whats the chance that two men in the same room, in the same interview are called 'Dean', though one seemed to have more power, he quite un-politically correct called the other a 'sub-Dean'.... a little unkind in my eyes!)

Anyway within days I recieved a letter of congratulations......... I had a conditional offer. I jumped and screamed like a child!!! (Another clue here, I am not a small guy, can I really jump ? hmmmmm)

It felt good but I had to hold my excitment... I had studies to do and a distinction in every subject to attain! (Yep... I'm dreaming!)

And here I am, subjects complete. Grades in waiting.... and it doesnt feel real ? I should have taken the blue pill right?

Anyone else feel the same ?
Maybe it will become reality when we walk in on the 17th ?
Or maybe thats when I'll wake up ? (spooky music)

    LOL

Call me a cynic, but the two best things about med school are the day you find out that you've done well enough to get in and the day you find out that you've done well enough to leave. The period in between these two days is comparable to purgatory.

Nice one I'll be in Cardiff medical school in 2 years

However, according to the Marquis de Laplace it was always going to happen regardless, and both Gorgias and Decartes might argue that it's not real anyway

Berkely might say that your overly emotional approach to all this has clouded your judgement (hence it might not be real). Kant might say that it's only what you percieve and what is in reality is actually never accessible (thus it may not be as you see it) and Plato would say that Cardiff medical school (along with all the others) isn't really a medical school, only an inperfect form of the idea.

    However....well done...

Excited, anxious, but well aware of the terror that lurks beneath. Everyone out wants in, everyone in wants out. LOL
