Transfer from UK to Canadian Medical School

I was wondering if it would be possible to transfer from a UK medical school to Canadian? What are Canadian medical schools like?

Canadian Med schools are like the American ones in that you have to have another degree to apply (though at places like McMaster this could be any degree)....it is nearly impossible to get into Canadian schools as a non-resident canadian, let alone as a non citizen, and I think few, if any, accept transfer students due to the widely differing nature of medical courses. You might be able to do your specialty training there (what I am hoping to do) but you have to committ yourself to working in a rural area for a few years, and in Canada this can be pretty rural
