    Hmm I didn't know that.

I was just basing what I said on my experiences of people with medicine offers this year.

Everyone I know who applied to Cambridge medicine did 4 subjects.

The people with 3 sciences and 1 humanity, were given "A*AA excluding the humanity" offers,
The people with 4 sciences were given A*AA offers.

Presumably that's not always the case though, as you've seen other offers.

As A*AA would be a standard offer i'd imagine that would be most likely. Back on topic, I would still advise against 5 and drop down to 4

Hmm, my problem is that my lowest UMS this year was Chemistry, at 89% (can't remember exact UMS), which obviously I won't drop, maths is the one I enjoy the least and classics is the least... relevant. I just don't know :/ But thank you both so much for your help, its cleared some things up for me

You can't drop Chemistry. Most people find maths the easiest so I wouldn't drop that either. I dropped further maths and if I were in your position I would drop classics

Nope haven't started, because i decided not to apply to oxbridge. Reason being, I am too lazy to revise in my gap year. But if i did apply, I would have started now the latest.
