International Applicants United
Just creating this thread so that all of us international applicants can discuss our situation together since it's different from home status applicants. First of all we get our letters a few days afterwards cos stupid Royal Airmail takes sooooo long... Post reply as soon as you get your letter if your international!

The wait is driving me crazy. I'm from Malaysia btw. There are 12 (if I'm not mistaken) Cambridge Medicine applicants this year from my college. We're pretty stressed right now.

Hey everyone!
Now that the results for home students are out, the wait for our results is killing me! I'm from Saudi Arabia btw (tho I'm a Bangladeshi).
lucasscott1TH: Which college did you apply for? I'm for CAIUS
Miss_Doctor: Congrats for being pooled, much better than rejection I'd say. Btw, where do you live? And how come you got your results so fast??Last edited by sci_freak; 04-01-2007 at 02:10 AM.

Hey people! I'm sorry I sound so hyppocritical when I started this thread and it turns out I'm the first one to get my results!! I'm from Hong Kong. I haven't received it by post yet, but the only reason I know already is cos my admissions officer was really kind and even right after the interview she told me that because I am international she'll email me the results as soon as all decisions are final so that my wait isn't cruel and tedious. I AM SO HAPPY!!! I'M NOT REJECTED BY CAMBRIDGE! I GOT THIS FAR I REALLY WANT TO GET IN! But the reality of the pool is that my application could be untouched at the bottom of the pool, if noone notices me floating around in the pool. Now it's time to see if all the hours put into application pays off! Thank you sci_freak. I hope you all best of luck - since we're not competing against each other I feel very attached to all of you. WELL, I AM competing against you if you're pooled though!!!!!

There is another Caius applicant in my college. And I remember a Singaporean on this forum who applied to there as well, with killer BMAT scores
(>=29).
