What did you get by the way?

According to this 11.4 is the mean score for both section 1 & 2 for Cambridge applicants who were given an offer and standard deviation is only 1.29

11.4 is the mean for both sections combined which is surprisingly below average (6 for each section). Goes to show that the BMAT is not a great a factor in the grand scheme of things.

Hmm? The modal scores for 2005 were 4.8 for section 1 and 4.4 for section 2. In 2003, which that document is referring to they were 4.7 and 4.9-5.2 - my eyesight's not good enough but there's not much in it!

I'm not procrastinating enough to count each little bar to guesstimate a mean - but which "average" are you talking about?

Oh, I always thought it was 6 for some reason. Obviously wrong then...

lol 6 is a well good score!! i was kinda ok with my BMAT results they were in no means gr8 but like just happy they arent a complete flop!! 5.6, 5.6, 9 lol there are a few people with like 23 moaning that they shud have got higher!! i suppose its good to want to better urself but then again u gotta realise the exam was god damn hard and 23 is a v good score for cambridge, i think! Was really disappointed with my essay score though esp seeing as i do history n like writing essays, but its alrite for now just wish i got into the 10.5/12 tier cos thats whats more inline with the Cambridge means
