Useful website for Oxbridge - former applicants please read too
http://oxbridge-admissions.info (Click on profiles for the profiles… obviously)
This is a 'remake' of the original Oxbridge Admissions site (no relation of Oxbridge Applications), which hosted profiles from former applicants giving their grades, their view of the interview process, advice, etc. The first site went down early this year, but with the permission of both universities and the original owner, it has been resurrected by a group of volunteers on a strictly non-profit, non-commercial basis. I found it very useful when I applied so I've been helping with the new site.
When the first site went down, many of the profiles were lost but about 45 medical profiles were salvaged – however, these are mostly from 1999-2002 so we really need more profiles, especially more recent ones, which is why I wanted former applicants to read this as well. Please if you are a former applicant (that includes people who've applied this year) consider adding your profile to the site so you can help future applicants and make the whole process seem less daunting.
Thanks in advance.

Think this is a great idea. There's so much poor information floating around about the process and the places, and this site should help dispel some of that and attract good people who might otherwise think Oxbridge isn't for them.
Liana, hope you don't mind if I flag this up on t'other site?

Oh sure, go ahead, the more people are aware of it the better. (I'm assuming you mean the Oxford subforum??? - I didn't post it there because I had a read through the rules and 'cross-posting' isn't allowed!).

Yep submitted my profile to help all those who are thinking of applying. I got loads of help from these websites (the old Oxbridge admissions website and MSG) and I'm very happy to repay them.

Thanks for that. I was wondering why the original site wasn't working.

I think the forum's got busier again now so I'll send this back to the front page. Thanks to the people who've submitted profiles, greatly appreciated.

Hey, found another website oxbridge medicine interview preparation which also has quite a bit of info on there.
It runs interview preparation days - I haven't personally done one - but the site is free at least, so could be worth checking out.
