Graduate-entry medicine: Oxbridge graduates only?
On another thread I read that Oxford only seems to take graduates from Oxbridge unless they have an additional higher degree. Does this apply to Cambridge as well?
I will hopefully be graduating from Aberystwyth University with a First / 2.1, but much as I love Aber it is hardly a 'prestigious' university
If they are only taking Oxbridge or other prestigious university graduates I will not waste one of my precious 4 choices on them! Are then any GEM Cambridge students out there that attended other uni's?
Thanks
(Sorry if this has been discussed before, if it has can you please post a link

Just to clarify this isn't one of those 'am I good enough' posts. I just really want to know if Cambridge are 'fair' on admitting students on ability regardless of background, or if they are biased towards Oxbridge students.
Apparantly Oxford only take Oxbridge graduates or those with a further degree. Just wanted to know if Cambridge did the same.
Anyone out there from Cambridge with first degree from anywhere other than Oxbridge?

Yes! Half of us of the 2005 intake did our first degrees at non-Oxbridge universities. :-D
