A990 Applicants 2012

Hi, this is doctork2 and I just wanted to see who's applying for the new St. Andrews' North American medicine programme (a990).

Hey doctork2, from what I've heard isn't the a990 application due by January 15th? as well, it doesn't count in your 4 medical choices right?

Also, do you know what the ukcat cutoff is for it along with the number of seats they have?

I have no idea - being a new programme for this year, I believe it was due on the 15th of October with all the other medicine applications - and it will count as one of the medicine choices, I believe. Why don't you give them a call?

They have approximately 20 seats for this new amazing programme... Are you up for it?

Hey, my ukcat was terrible (thats why I didn't apply to st.Andrew's), so im pretty sure they take that into account as well. From reading up on the program late last night, It says that the deadline to apply for it is January 15th, but i'm not sure how you would go towards applying for it. I'll see if I can give them a call before University tmw morning.

Well, I have already applied (UCAS form was submitted on the 12th of october) and I've had a confirmational email from them and whatnot.

Hope to hear from them soon! I love the programme!
