Do you think it is important to go to the St Andrews open day if u r considering it for medicine? Does it help you get in at all at the interview?

I've just been asked by the admissions team to tell them what I have been doing since finishing the Access to Medicine Course last summer. (Which has been working as a nursing assistant and voluntary work with teh ambulance service)
Is this a good sign do you think?
