I think they give around 20 places to internationals.
I recently had my interview over the phone as well and I thought it went really badly, but they ended up giving me a n offer

hi. just wondering for those of ou accepted, what kind of academic marks did u have and ukat scores? Im canadian and will be applying to 2011. My grade11 marks were 87, grade 12 predicted 90 and ukcat still to be taken. Do i stand a chance?

Yes I did get an offer for St.A (but I am actually heading to Nottingham soon

). As for your question, I think you stand a good chance.. My UKCAT was not that high (645) but I guess I was a little off you with my OSSD averages (Gr. 11- 97%, Gr. 12- 95%.. Overall 96% for all the high school years.) But I don't think that mattered much. I mean, if you think your grades are low, then your PS can cover for it, or your experience or your reference or Interview itseld. There is no steadfast rules/cut off concerning the grades. I think yours are pretty good! Plus St.A does take in a good number of Canadians! Its definitely worth a shot!!! So yea, hope this helps!

They use UKCAT, I am not sure how high they want it though, but I guess its best in general to stay above 620ish for all med schools right? Though I do know that they take into consideration the overall student, I am sure if you are better than average in some other criteria (eg. PS/academics etc.) They would DEFINITELY give you a thought
