Yea 2 weeks is short notice! I'm going to New College, which is the one I picked so I'm really happy you? Is Oxford gona be your firm??

Oxford is definitely going to be my firm, and though my offer is actually an open offer, in the letter it said that they look forward to seeing me at Balliol (my first choice), so it seems I'll probably end up there.

If you were at new, were you interviewed by Dr Peggy Frith?

NB if we are going to have an in depth discussion about colleges we should probably migrate back to the Oxford thread instead of bugging the rest of the Bristol applicants

Other than Bristol, I've applied to Newcastle, BSMS and UCL. I have not heard anything from the others (only acknowledgements - except BSMS), but I will be rejected from Newcastle in January for not meeting the UKCAT cut-off.

Bristol's the one I'd prefer to go to, so I'm hoping I'll get in through the waiting list.

Kop Cat - I'm gonna PM you to talk about Bristol's waiting list a bit more and our chances of getting in at this stage onwards.

I still haven't heard from anywhere but Oxford, but I get the impression that most interviews/offers etc are sorted out in the new year... so now we wait
On an entirely different note did you hear from Oxford?

So who has interviews tomorrow (6th). There's a severe weather warning right in-between me and Bristol and an expected 40cm of snow! I'm worried I'm not going to make it! Anyone else thinking they'll have the same problems?
