When to call them up?

My teacher came up today and told me to call up the medical school to find out what was going on. Is this a wise idea, shall i let bristol get on with it at their own pace, or should i call them up to and ask what they're up to?

It doesn't hurt to give them a call, but you will more than likely get a generic "we are getting through the applications as fast as possible". Unfortunately, they have until the end of April to make decisions and so they don't have to inform anyone until then if they wanted.

However, as it is getting on a bit they may know when the last interview date is and when people will hear if they have an interview on that date.

I am in the same situation Chris and I called the other day. I just got a standard answer of 'your application is still with selectors, you should hear within six weeks' - not particularly helpful. Anyway, interviews are still going out, a couple of people on this forum have recently received invitations for 30th March. I think you may as well ring up, if only to reassure yourself that you haven't been forgotten!
