No News At All and its Feb Will I hear more than 'unsuccessful'

Basically i wanna know if i need to even bother preparing for an interview, Its feb and i know that there is a reserve interview list

(some of my other wanna be medic friends are on there and they had a lot stonger AS and GCSE grades than me)

I have heard NOTHING AT ALL! not a yay to an interview, or Nay to an interview!

anyone with any inside info would be helpful to know...

They hand out interviews until mid Feb, so don't give up hope yet!

I feel exactly how this thread expresses...back in January - there was still time for February interview but now being the 3rd of February and all - I am quite depressed... I mean how many more interview dates do they have left? **sigh**......

I know that they have had around 3000 applicants for 130 places.
like i have already said... there is a reserve interview list. (which will be for a day in April)

I'm just annoyed because I feel that If they are going to reject you they should do so as soon as they have made a decision and not leave people waiting and wondering. I'm at a stage were i Just want to know so that i can move on and concentrate on my offer from Sheffield for Biomedical Sciences, and stop having the feeling at the back of my head what if?

I havent heard anything at all from Brighton and Sussex! wow 3000 for 130 places! thats insane!

actually wait - they wanted copies of my transcripts etc from uni, and said they will be interviewing graduates in Mid Feb and I could hear anytime up until that point!

I really hope they dont give me literally one days notice if i do get an interview! I need to prepare. Saying that I should prepare anyway now really - but its hard to motivate yourself when they may never actually contact you!

I am trying to find out how many interview days that they have left from med students there that I met on a summer school thing that i did there i the summer... hopefully there not TOO busy to reply.
I'll let you know any news.
