No News At All and its Feb Will I hear more than 'unsuccessful'

Hi, I'm a student here. I think from what I know there is 3/4 interview days left and its not unknown for people to hear a week before so still possible for feb. Back in the day I was reserve list person, and I got the interview in April and then got in. So please if you get reserve listed don't think of it as a negative thing, it may be unpleasant hanging on and hoping but at the end of the day it is sooooo much better that a rejection as it means you still have a chance. I still am so thankful I made it to the reserve list and got a chance. I <3 BSMS!

Still no news from Brighton. I emailed them last week and was told that it could still be a couple of weeks as they are running behind schedule. Has anyone had a rejection yet? Maybe they will send a huge batch of them in the next few weeks. I am not too hopeful of an interview now.

neither am i... im just going to treat my last two chances as rejections now.... :-(

I'm from Southampton (i'm not a student at the uni) and i know that they have also been really late on offering offers. Don't give up just yet. I have had a change in career plans and i just want to know out of interest from BSMS... whether they want to interview me or NOT. I'm not going to go to the interview - it's not worth the stress (for me anyway).

There's running late and then there is this. It's a Joke. I just want to know out of interest from BSMS (i'm not going to go to the interview - I just want to wait on whether they would like to interview me rather than withdrawing my application) and I know a lot of people are waiting as a willing candidate to do medicine (like yourself and everyone who has replied to this thread)
Sorry I'm ranting at you, I just want to know.

I'm in the same position as you Katie. I would just like to know out of interest. I will also decline an interview invite if I get one. I am so happy with my offer from Barts and I don't want someone to miss out on an invitation for interview.

I have also applied to SOTON GEP and they have said it could be the end of March before we hear anything as they don't interview....

I'm in the same position - i haven't heard anything at all - i am taking it as a rejection at this stage. It would have been nice to have at least got an acknowledgment!

When I applied to Brighton last year, I was put on the reserve interview list in January. I was however never called for interview and didn't hear about a rejection until results day in August

A friend of mine has applied there this year, he HAS had an interview, however he's been placed on a reserve offers list too, and is still waiting to hear from B&S..
