I applied to BSMS on the 6th october and haven't heard anything at all. I am also in my final year for biomedical sciences and some of my friends who applied there also received an email asking for their degree transcripts. I did not receive anything like that and I tried to call BSMS fruitlessly. What shall I do? Do you think they are considering my application?

I agree with Angeldelight246, why indeed are they being so secretive? I wonder what's taking them so long to decide who they will call for interview, I'm getting quite impatient! Plus worried with what I read in the other thread about them wanting >65 average from our degrees :s

Thanks for pointing that out Mr (mc)Wiseguy. However, as I am sure you know, getting an interview does not equate with being offered a place (unfortunately!). There is a definite possibility of being rejected from all my choices post-interview. I wish you good luck with your University choices though, and seeing as you already have your BSc degree plus some excellent work experience I don't doubt you will get your wish!

Fair point I suppose. This is the fourth time I've applied and I'm starting to lose motivation now. I missed my offer at A-level by a grade at Manchester so they wouldn't let me in. Plus, I keep getting negative vibes from the docs at work who all keep telling me not to do Medicine because it's so stressful. One of my friends is also struggling at Warwick 4yr having to resit the semester next week and my sister (4th at Manchester) is totally stressed out and getting fed up with it as well! :s

4th time applying? Wow, I really admire you, you havent given up on your dream, it shows you have a strong character. I just wanted to ask you, does this mean you have to wait the whole year before re-applying? have you given any thought to applying to the States? I know its very expensive, but I was thinking of giving that a go if I am unsuccessful now. Hopefully this will be the last time both of us go through the application process though!

Hey. lol, I don't even admire myself surprised you do! I've looked at loads of places: US, St. Georges (Grenada), Malaysia, Singapore, Australia and New Zealand. But they want strict top class academics (especially the US and Singapore) and loads of money! Plus some of them have long-winded complicated applications for international students.
