    to those who were successful in the 2008 cycle

    What grades did you acheive at AS and what grades are you predicted? This info will be of a lot help. Thanks

    1. BSMS - Rejected 2. Manchester - Rejected 3. Keele 4. Leeds

    According to this, my Keele rejection is next..... Oh poo!

    Hi. Im a graduate so can't really help you guys too much. But it may be worth noting that my alevel grades were AABa (including chemistry and biology) - best of luck!

    hmmm i'd like to know about gcse grades and ukcat scores too

    i should be applying with AAAA at AS and 5a*s, 5a's at gcse but my ukcat score let me down - 602.5 so im worried im gonna be rejected w/o interview because of it

    Don't worry about UKCAt too much, at BSMS it's just used as an extra tool, if its good, good for you, if not, don't worry too much about it. There is no "cut off" score i believe. Your GCSEs are pretty good

    Anybody know if the UKCATf is based on a points system or just used as a 'tie-breaker' between two similar students for example?

    I applied to Brighton last year, so did 3 mates over the last two years.

    I eventually got AABB; my mate AAAA and the the other mate AAAAA; none of us got a "sniff" let alone a reason for not being interviewed...........their selection is a complete mystery, probably due to to many beachcomers applying, about 19 applicants per place, in my opinion don't waste one of your options.

    I'm a graduate too (2:1 and got AABc in my A levels) but i only got just over 600 in my UKCAT and still got in! I really wouldn't worry about your UKCAT.

    Hey I got 2 As in Bio and Chem and 2 Bs in History and English at AS. In my GCSEs I got 8 A*s 2As and 2Bs. In my UKCAT I got 600 640 690 and 760 so average of 672.5.
