    Hi!
I am finishing radiology course in Portugal and I am interested to study medicine in Brighton Medical School.

I visited your site and I read about the admissions but I still have one doubt. In my case, finishing the radiology course this year, I have more advantage to entry in Brighton medical school?
I do not have a (A) level in biology and chemistry, I have (C) level in these two disciplines.
The disciplines I have in my course radiology, wich are more similar to Biology, are biochemistry, cytology and biogenetic.
    Thank you for your time

Hello everyone! I'm really worried whether they're going to accept me or not; I have 3 AS subjects which I will receive the grades of in August. I'll be doing A2 in September. can I apply with only 3 AS subjects (bio, chem & english lit)? i'll be doing all 3 subjects in A2.
and if 3 isn't enough, is it too late to do another AS subject during my A2 year? will they accept it if i mention it in my PS?

thank you SOOOO much in advance! I really don't know what to do ((((

3 is def fine at bsms, don't worry . Plenty of my friends only did 3. Don't need to metion in your personal statement at all - save the space for talking about your clinical experience and showing your passion for medicine

    Hi there

I know BSMS don't give an explicit UKCAT score/cut off and have stated that they will use it in conjunction with grades, personal statement and references etc.

However is there - amongst current students - an average? Can anyone tell me the lowest score and highest scores (that they know of) that gained the applicant a place?

    Cheers!

Hi, I've applied to BSMS and have an interview in february, I am currently in my first year of biomedical sciences elsewhere, was wondering if the university will give me a lower priority/view it as a bad thing... Not too sure on this at all but I really want to go into medicine!

Hey, think that probably such a specific/unusual case that you are best of asking the medical school themselves, that said I presuming that it was obvious on your ucas application that this was the case and they have given you an interview (which is very hard at bsms) so probably are not seeing it as a bad thing
