Official BMAT book just gives you the style of questions that are in the BMAT. Section 2 is less about knowledge but more about applying that knowledge. The knowledge needed is equivalent to GCSE level, which tbh most people know, its about applying that GCSE knowledge to most A-level type questions.

If you want to find out what is on the BMAT, i'd download the specification from the BMAT website then use your revision guides to revise the relevant topics

i think the book is upto standard for the actual test. where are u applying nikusm? what exactly are u studying? becus to get 7.1 in section 2 u must have all the scientific knowledge from GCSE, so clearly either you are a genius or you have covered these things in school lolz

Well I am a good student, very good actually but no genius,... been to the national Olympiad of physics a couple of times, also to other contests of maths and physics-i have a nice collection of prizes too. I acquired most of my knowledge in school, however there are things I studied all by myself (Radioactivity, some Optics, Relativity, also some Bio and Chem). There wasn't too much new for me when I practiced BMAT but I feel that if I study a little bit more I can aim for 8. There were some questions I just didn't know how to answer like those with muscle diagrams or that question about heart valves etc. [I guess I made most of my mistakes in physiology]
After all, 7.1 is not that hard to get...18/27=2/3=66%.
Originally, I planned on applying to Imperial, UCL, KCL, Edinburgh.
But after some emails & diag test I think it'll be: Oxford, Imperial, KCL, Sheffield

I really don't work that much. I mean, I work hard when I have to, not daily. The last time I worked hard was some months ago. I really don't ignore my free time- I often go play tennis, soccer, drinking(if that's a leisure activity ) ), lotsa parties going on right now as everybody turns 18 (including me)
Hopefully, if I get into Oxford you'll see...

Yes the Kaplan book is SCARILY advanced science, though some people might like stretching themselves, there is stuff in there that should never come up.

I mean, Hardy-Weinburg equation type population genetics isn't GCSE biology, not by ANY standard I've seen.
