3rd year students applying for 4 year
hi, does anyone know whether bham accept students on to the 4 yr course based on a predicted degree classification? and current GEC students was anyone on the course accepted based on a predicted degree classification?

birmingham doesn't accept any students who do not already have a 1st class honours. i believe the only exceptions are those at oxford/cambridge.

You can only get on that way if you also qualify for the 5 year course (i.e 8 A*s at GCSE, etc.). You then may get interviewed for the 5 year and, providing you get an offer, if you firm it and someone drops out/doesn't accept their offer for the 4 year you can be given the place. My flatmates are medics here (Birmingham) and they know of at least one person in GEC years 1 and 2 that got in that route.
