No interview from birmingham!

Yh hope so, as well. But I think its very likely that I will get a rejection. The thing is if I would know for sure that i will be rejected i would reply to my psychology offer. Why does it take so long?

I so hope youre right - im kinda counting on birmingham cos I dont think kings or edinburgh are likely - and as you can see i was unsuccessful with nottingham!

I've already had two rejections...and all I want is one, just one interview...I'm not greedy!

Same, I have also heard nothing.

I only got 5 GCSEs, all A*s. They were taken with extenuating circumstances. I previously wrote to Prof Lote and he confirmed I will be considered.
Maybe this is why it is taking longer for my application to be looked at :s

Did you apply for the A2B scheme?
ive only got 5A*s at GCSE and i applied through that.
I still haven't heard either.
Have birmingham gieven any straight rejections yet, does anyone know?

I just applied in the normal way. What is the A2B scheme?

Its a scheme where if your from a low socio economic background or your parents haven't been to uni then you can apply through it
It can compensate for GCSEs not meeting the requirments or a reduced A level offer.
I know someone who went through it for dentistry last year at bham and their offer was lower than everybody elses (ABB i think).
But if youve spoken to Lote about it then you should be fine.

I got an interview from birmingham a while back for the 1st March.
But i've decided to withdraw my application from Birmingham as i have heard from my firm and insurance

just got my notification from ucas that my application to b'ham has been unsuccessful absolutely gutted as I haven't managed to get one interview this year, even though I had a decent UKCAT score, tonnes of experience....well, I just thought this year I had a chance

if you dont mind me asking, what are your academics like/ukcat etc? im now just waiting for my rejection from birmingham too!!
